Shin Tokai Paper to build 70t/h biomass boiler at Shimada mill in Japan
The new boiler, which involves a total investment of approximately ¥12.5 billion ($90 million), will be fuelled with wood biomass and will be capable of generating 70 tonnes of steam per hour, the company said.

Prices for OCC imports continue to slump with the European brown grade falling the fastest
The excess of old corrugated containers (OCC) tonnage available for export from Europe and the USA has continued to weigh on the Asian market, driving prices for brown grades down to new lows. European OCC 95/5 levels have dropped $20/tonne over the past two weeks and clocked in at $115-130/tonne in Southeast Asia (SEA).
