Japan’s Chuetsu Pulp & Paper to raise wall base paper prices from November 1
Japan's Chuetsu Pulp & Paper will raise the prices for its wall base paper by a minimum of 15%, applicable on shipments from November 1.
The price revision is needed to counterbalance the soaring costs of raw materials and fuels, the company said.
For similar reasons, the company also recently tabled mark-ups of at least 15% for its kraft paper range and certain cartonboard grades, beginning with October 1 shipments.
