Klabin slates $30/tonne price hike for BEK in China, global increase for fluff in June
SAO PAULO, 26 May 2022 (Fastmarkets RISI) - Brazilian pulp and paper producer Klabin is slating a new $30-per-tonne price increase for its bleached eucalyptus kraft (BEK) pulp traded in China, effective with June sales, Fastmarkets has learned.
The company is also setting a $50-per-tonne price hike for its fluff traded in the country in June.
In the United States and Europe, Klabin informed clients about an $80-per-tonne price hike for fluff, set to take effect in June.
